What all films had in common is that before there was any screen time for any of the actors the sponsors of the film and the production companies of the film are all displayed.
The scene setting then takes place and this is sets the narrative for the film. On London to Brighton there also also time setting, and may be a narrative back in time as shown in brick.
On the majority of films there is the titles where the actors of the films names are displayed in small text overlaying the scene setting of the title sequence. The genre of the films and the themes are all shown right at the start of the film and are made very clear in the title sequence through various enigma codes. In London To Brighton there is louder music to title then in the narrative of the film to show the beginning of the actual film. In the film in search of a midnight kiss there is a narrative of flashbacks into time. The film Brick was shown in a noire type of filming and the narrative was back in time. The last film we looked at, Kickass had narration in the background with a digetic background as into brought you into the film the background digetic music cut out and the film went into the narrative.
