Evaluation Question 6

What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

Other technologies we used were facebook, we used this to organise all the cast together for times and meetings of what we need them for. We made our own page on facebook aswell in order to be able to contact our audience aswell and get feedback.
Other technologies we used were a still frame camera which we used to take pictures of the sketches taken which where then uploaded together on premier pro which was then used to make a video which we uploaded to youtube.

The largest aspect of technology which helped us in our product was the blogger.com website which helped us upload all our work on the internet.
The main video camera which we used for all the videoing was also used and then to get the clips we needed onloaction was used.
Without these use of technologies we would not be able to achieve what we have with the product.

Evaluation Question 5

How did you attract/address your audience?

First of all we posted our finished product onto our media facebook page to receive feedback from our targeted audience, which this there was some critism which was needed to be acknowledged in order for our production to improve further, and therefore make it more entertaining for our viewers. We also posted our moodboard and animatic in order to gain attention. We also went on to talk to our audience through technology such as mobile phones.
This some of the ideas we got from facebook:

Evaluation Question 3

3. What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

Our film is aimed at a crossover market, therefore I believe the distributor such as 'Focus Features' that would be best suited to our genre of noir. This is the independent arm of the major distributor company universal. This would be suited to our film as the company suited to our genre as they produce smaller films like this but then have the synergy and money to be able to crossover it the main stream so therefore it would be very good at distributing the amount of prints that we would need. We would hope our distributer would advertise the film and make people want to go to see it. For the younger generation we would adverttise on social network sites such as facebook or twitter. Then to the older generation advertise in newspapers as this would be lower cost then TV adds, but with this older generation they would be no younger then 20 and no older then 40, so therefore there is a specified age that we are targeting.
